What can hypnosis do for me

During the hypnosis session, a deeply relaxed, dream-like, state is achieved. The client is fully aware of what they are saying and feeling however are not controlling those thoughts or feelings. Many will express after their session how surprised they were by their emotions. Others observe with curiosity the recall of events and the intensity of its lingering impact.

Using the SEM (Self Empowered Minds) technique of hypnosis, intuition, and other behavior modification methodologies, blockages causing challenges are identified and cleared by retraining the unconscious mind to accept the new desired behavior using methods such as age regression, traditional hypnosis, past life regression and dream analysis. These changes take place over the next several days and in 5-8 sessions are firmly embedded in the unconscious mind allowing you to live to your greatest potential!

Benefits of Hypnosis

Optionally, SCIO Biofeedback may be incorporated into the session.  Biofeedback is a computerized version of acupuncture in which the system will first scan the body to determine stress blockages and then energetically release those blockages.  This is especially recommended for people who are seeking weight management, quitting smoking, or struggling with physical conditions.  Many of our clients receive both hypnosis and reiki as a complete mind-body approach.  Our practitioner will advise you should that be in your best interest.

Initial Hypnosis Session

Initial Hypnosis Session

In the initial hypnosis session, we discuss goals and personal history leading to the  limiting beliefs and blockages.  We discuss the process and clarify how the re-patterning of the subconscious mind takes place.  Then we go to work and begin your hypnosis session. 
 
An Initial Hypnosis Session may be combined with Biofeedback.

Multi-Modality Hypnosis Session

Multi-Modality Sessions

With Multi-Modality-Hypnosis, longer processes such as Age RegressionDream Awakening and Past Life Regression may be incorporated in addition to EMDR, Access Consciousness, SAF and Handwriting Analysis. The longer session time allows for the practitioner and client to discuss and playout solutions. Before going into Deep Trance

hypnosis, Conversational Hypnosis along with NLP is performed.  No two sessions are ever the same with each being unique to the client’s challenges and advancements.

Once we’ve gotten to the core of the underlying problem through the Initial Hypnosis and Multi-Modality sessions and are experiencing desired changes, Practical Hypnosis sessions allows for the continuation of engraining positive, healthy patterns of the mind. Additionally, it allows us to hone in focusing on the specific goal using traditional methods of hypnosis. These sessions are shorter, powerful and efficient.

Looking to now balance the energy in your body while still working on your subconscious mind?  The combo package is a very cost effective way of working on both mind and body. Once we’ve gotten to the core of the underlying problem through the Initial Hypnosis and Multi-Modality sessions, Practical Hypnosis sessions allows for the continuation of engraining positive, healthy patterns of the mind while Reiki clears the stress blockages at the organ and chakra level.  About 45 minutes are spent doing reiki and another 45 min with a hypnosis session.

What To Expect

Before Hypnosis

BEFORE

To make the most of your initial hypnosis session, determine one specific overpowering goal. It is best to focus on one goal though often working on one goal will resolve other goals.  

The majority of the time, the underlying issue is self-worth.  As we strengthen th self-worth, symptomatic behaviors decrease or disappear.

If your goal is to quit smoking, make sure not to smoke at least 4 hours before arrival.

During Hypnosis

DURING

Hypnosis is a natural state which you are in and out of hypnosis multiple times a day. It is when you are between wake and sleep.

During your hypnosis session you may feel like you have fallen asleep or you may have what feels like an out of body experience or you may be in a light trance. This depends on the individual as well as the hypnotic process.

Throughout the process, you are always in control. Depending on the process used, the practitioner may be influencing your unconscious mind with positive suggestions or may be retrieving information from your unconscious mind or both.

After Hypnosis

AFTER

At the end of the session you will feel lighter and very relaxed. Over the next 24 hours, in some cases, the subject may feel emotional.  It is actually a good sign as it is the unconscous mind negotiating with the new thought patterns and belief systems.

Shortly after a new positive perspective prevails! Changes take place over 7 to 10 days before they plateau.

To further ingrain these changes and continue to make more changes, the follow up appointment should be within 7 to 10 days of the initial session.

Most people will however, some people will require additional sessions should they have difficulty letting go and allowing themselves to enter a relaxed state. Should this be the case, other techniques may be used to work with the client. Most important is that the client arrives with an open mind and desire to make changes.

It feels like you are in a light sleep. Many people experience an out-of-body like experience in which they are completely aware of what is going on yet there is a disconnect with their body.

No. Hypnosis is a hyper-aware state and therefore a person cannot be hypnotized to do anything they are not willing to do.

Hypnosis is used for phobias, anxiety, depression, sexual problems, alcoholism, smoking control, weight control, chronic pain, self-esteem, confidence strengthening, memory/concentration improvement and more.

The initial session is 90 minutes with follow up sessions being 50 or 75 minutes. We also have goal specific sessions such as Sacred Ancestral Clearing, Delete Reset and Genius Activator which are longer.

Each person is different but in general five to eight sessions are needed
