Manifestation includes positive thinking and removes limiting thoughts and beliefs from our mindset. It means focusing on what you want to achieve and having your thoughts attract these desires to your life.
Sounds quite magical, doesn’t it?
Though magical and powerful, it doesn’t just happen out of nowhere. it is important to note that manifestation requires work, effort, and action on your part.
You are in control in creating a life you’ve always wanted and thinking positively will help you get to that point.
How do we manifest?
The law of action states that action must be taken in order to create change in circumstance. So if you want to change something for the better in your life, taking action is just as important as believing in achieving this change. This is the key to bringing manifestation to life.
4 Actionable Tools to Manifest
A vision board is a collection of images, affirmations, and quotes that represent the dreams and goals you want to manifest. It gives you a visual of what you want to accomplish and by seeing these images in front of you, it brings focus to your desires – which is a powerful tool to reprogram your subconscious mind. Images should be goal-relevant and trigger positive emotional responses whenever you look at your vision board.
For example, if you’re working toward saving for your dream home, you can start pinning up ideas for the type of home, rooms, landscaping, location, and decor! For me, one of my goals is to continue creating the non-traditional career path that aligns with my pursuit of inclusion, accessibility, neuroaesthetics and self-care recharge rooms for both people with and without disabilities. I’m happy to say that with consistent effort, networking, positive energy and manifesting, new opportunities came my way for the new year!
Pinning things to your vision board can help make the goal feel more tangible. I personally enjoy writing on a clear magnetic calendar using different colored expo markers. My husband and I take turns writing down goals for the week or plans we’d like to do. Every day we wake up to look at our calendar and get excited on what’s to come. Vision boards or calendars are a visual reminder of your goals, which can motivate you. So, hop on pinterest, make a collage or create a creative calendar! Be sure to have fun with it as you set the intention you want to achieve.
Journaling is a great writing platform to manifest your dreams and self-reflect on personal and even professional development.
As of now, my favorite journal prompt is “What does your ideal life look like?”
By writing your dreams and goals on paper, you can read them out loud over and over to manifest these desires and direct your subconscious mind to focus on these goals. Journaling can also help with gratitude and feeling grateful for the things you already have. Meditation and manifestation go hand in hand. Meditating with an affirmation in mind helps you visualize your dreams and reprograms your brain for more positive beliefs into your own capabilities.
Meditation will also help improve your personal peace and self-acceptance. There are so many benefits to meditation which include stress reduction, lower blood pressure, memory improvement, and anxiety management as well.Affirmations work because the subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between imagination and reality, which the subconscious mind wants to make a truth out of. Be sure your words are not contradicting your desires and become aware of what you say.
